NOTD | First Attempt at Nail Art

Hey everyone :),

I picked up some nail art pens at the Britain and Ireland Next Top Model live show back in October (which by the way was amazing, Bluey Robinson performed.. Yum ;)). I've been so busy at university since then so I've only just given them a proper try, how does it look?

Bit of leopard print, thought I'd start off with something easy.

The base colour is called 'Fury' by 17 (available at boots in the UK).

The black colour is called 'Black Pearl' by LA Colours.

Face of the Day | The Christmas Edition

Hey everyone, so Christmas has come and gone, I hope you all had an amazing day and are all looking forward to new year celebrations. Thought I'd share with you what make-up I wore on Christmas day, nothing too out there. I always try to find the perfect balance between making an effort for Christmas but looking natural. Revlon - Super Lustrous Lipstick in 'Mink'

Skipping Summer..

Is anyone else noticing that summer is no longer where it should be? April, May and June are lovely and then summer is awful. So I'm treating myself and moving swiftly onto autumn (in a fashion sense at least) by snapping up some new bits for colder weather.

Ive been lusting after the jacket for a while now, wanted one with silver hardware.. however I'm extremely impatient, I just cant be without a leather jacket any longer! Although if you have any suggestions I'd love you forever :).
Not sure if I'll keep the lot yet, we'll see, what do you guys think of them?

Lately I'm in love with this combination the blue is so bright, its my perfect summer nail colour. Just in time for my Caribbean vaycay :D

This is quite possibly the tastiest thing i've EVER eaten at Mc Donalds in all my 19 years. Behold.. the chicken and bacon deli sub. Commence droooling.

This was so fresh and filling and dispite Mc Donalds reputation for unhealthy offerings, I think this is a pretty healthy option. HARAHH! and you can still get your McDs kicks.

Therapeutic Expression

Well what a day its been (when i say 'day' i mean emotional train wreck to be frank). From singing and enthusiastically whipping my hair back and forth this morning to well.. as much as i don't want to bring you guys down, complete misery.

Honest talks with my ex has lead to a promising friendship rather than sour memories, that's always good right? After that though, i found out some of his friends were saying less than nice things (to put it oh so politely).

What do we do when those you considered your friends (not just his) turn on you? It sounds impossible when your in the thick of it all, but you guessed it.. just let it go (probably wasn't worth as much as you thought it was), find your strength and in time you'll find happiness (and genuinely positive people to surround yourself with to boot!)

My relationship with my ex now, is kinda peachy rather than bittersweet.. shame his mates aren't quite so lovely :S. haha. time heals all.
